Born and raised in the tropical island of Barbados, Alex Jackson sought after his destiny from a very humble age, feeding his insatiable desire for the world of entertainment, firstly, through Blogging & Public Relations, which later evolved into the fields of Model Management & Photography.
Propelled by his management team at KeDrew and drawing inspiration and creativity from industry moguls like Mario Testino, Mariano Vivanco and Steven Klein; Alex travels regularly throughout the Caribbean, Europe and North America on professional assignments, broadening his ingenuity and expertise.
Jackson’s portfolio includes photographic works for the likes of Women Management, NEXT, and Wilhelmina Models. He has also worked with top models prevalent in campaigns for brands such as MAC Cosmetics & Hugo Boss, and those who have collaborated with A-list celebrities like Taylor Swift & Jennifer Lopez.
Notably, he has been published in magazines such as M People & Living Barbados Magazine, featured on outlets like Yahoo & NBC, lensed advertising campaigns for telecommunications giant, Cable & Wireless/LIME/FLOW, and has also crafted imagery for International Recording Artists like Shontelle (Universal Music) and Samantha J (Columbia Records).
At the start of his career, Jackson’s artistic eye coupled with an insatiable appetite for celebrities and pop culture further led him to be the Editor-In-Chief of Star Trident, a digital entertainment hub garnering more than 180,000+ hits per month. Under his guidance, the brand rose to become one of the most esteemed outlets for entertainment news, which resulted in a roster of advertisers, including Roc Nation and Louis Vuitton.
2016 saw Jackson expand his creative portfolio through a partnership with KeDrew to form Omega Model Management, an international company dedicated to discovering, developing and placing models with top agencies across the globe.
